Representing creation, mortality and immortality the small figure is representational, stylized and simplified. The Eve icon represents every woman.  As the work progressed the figure grew and the torso took on larger proportions.  The figure usually confronts the viewer and forces a reevaluation of our concepts of the feminine and masculine.  Alternating layers of translucent red and blue oil paint are applied and hand burnished to achieve a blend and richness.  Subject and process carry equal weight in the finished work.
